This profile map is a product of the collective effort of Sitio San Ysiro folks who desired to determine and document what their natural resources are and their capabilities within the community to manage the resources. Data collected was used for their Comprehensive Area Development Plan. LIFE and Lasallian Volunteers (LSVP) helped facilitate the activities.
These are examples of activities during community profiling, in Sitio San Ysiro. Community folks were organized and trained to collect data and information. Through experiential learning and by walking the community members through the field activities and tasks, they learned about the need to protect and care for the environment, as stewards of God’s creation. These community members are mainly indigenous people.
